BIRCH HARBOR

Marcia G. Dow, 93, died June 11, 2002, at an Ellsworth hospital. She was born Sept. 18, 1908, the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Crowley) Foss.

She is survived by three sons, Roger Dow and Neal Dow and his wife, Christine, all of Ellsworth, and Frederick Dow and his wife, Ellen of Jacksonville, Fla.; one daughter, Kathleen Ray and her husband, Robert of Birch Harbor; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren including a special great-granddaughter, Molly Dow; nine great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Neal Dow Sr. in 1977 and a daughter, Margaret Bickford in 1992.

A graveside service was held June 15, 2002, at the West Bay Cemetery, Gouldsboro. The family would like to thank Community Health and Counseling for caring for their mother, also to Hospice of Hancock County for sitting and bringing comfort to her when she needed it.
