And now for something completely different: A Grange that is growing and looking to the future with vision and enthusiasm. It’s the Halcyon Grange in Blue Hill. Find out what’s behind their optimism. Page 1.
And while we’re in Blue Hill, read about the remarkable couple who would like to bestow a walking and running track on the town for the benefit of the public and George Stevens Academy athletes. Thank you, Chuck and Belinda Lawrence!
All this plus The Grand’s bright, new marquee; the arrival of Friday Night Lights at Ellsworth High School; the departure of the director of Down East Health Services; volleyball; soccer; pizza; intricate wooden chests; fall sports team photos; cops; crime; engagements; and a 50th wedding anniversary.
